LEPHUCR is a compilation of three texts I began writing in 2018 inside La Partida, and only finished editing as a single object years later. The first, "Facing the past to imagine the future", was a March 2018 self-publishing effort that circulated hand to hand among militants. The second, "Read this to make a real change", was never published: I paused it around 2020. The third, "On critical action", came out of my philosophy thesis at UNAM.

All three share one obsession: understanding why my generation's activism produces so much movement and so little change. The answer I propose is not moral but technical. Capitalism is not merely a mode of production; it is a technological configuration of reality, an arrangement of things so that people act toward them in a certain way. And the modern State works as the church of that faith: capture machines and apparatuses, paid agents, armies, a liturgy.

The book runs through the failure of Wikipolítica, the inheritance of #YoSoy132 and free-software culture, the question of how effective activism really is, and lands on a set of concrete principles and tactics for organizing. I wrote much of it while learning to program —the Decidim repository is literally what led me to Ruby on Rails— and that double condition of philosopher and programmer runs through the whole text.
